OSINT timeline

Timeline Intelligence and Security

Use this showcase if you’re building an application where analysts need to make sense of open source intelligence as a sequence of activity, not just a collection of records. News articles, social posts, and message data can quickly become fragmented. Arranged chronologically, those sources start to show how a situation developed and how different individuals reacted, both publicly and privately.

What the showcase demonstrates

The showcase presents OSINT-style data as an enriched timeline, combining public web content, social media activity and communications between individuals. Icons, images and annotations provide context around each item, helping users understand the source type and significance without opening every record in isolation.

In the workflow, a news website publishes an article about factories closing and another publishes a video interviewing the laid-off workers. This prompts posts on social platforms and direct messages between contacts. The sequence shows how a real-world event can move through public and private communications, turning scattered digital traces into something analysts can follow.

Selecting an item reveals more detail about the interaction so users can move from the wider story to the supporting evidence, while still preserving the order in which activity happened.

What you can evaluate

For product and engineering teams, this showcase demonstrates how the SDKs can support OSINT and investigation workflows built around time-based evidence. It shows enriched event styling, source-specific icons, annotations, image content and detail-on-demand interactions.

The workflow supports a key OSINT task: reconstruct what happened from scattered digital activity, then understand the narrative of the data.
