Phone call analysis

Graph Timeline Intelligence and Security

Use this showcase if you’re building an application where analysts need to reconstruct the sequence of calls between people. A network view can show that two individuals are connected, but the timing and volume of their calls can reveal whether that contact was routine, unusual or escalating.

What the showcase demonstrates

The showcase pairs a communication graph with a synchronized timeline. Selecting a person or connection in the graph brings the relevant call activity into focus on the timeline, so analysts can see when conversations happened and how they developed over time.

The timeline can also drive the investigation. Zooming into a specific period filters the graph to show the people and calls active in that time window, helping users move from a broad communication network to the moments that need closer attention.

In this example, the workflow highlights a month when Edward Leonard received an unusually high number of calls from Albert Peters. The graph shows how they are connected in the network, while the timeline shows when their communication volume changed.

What you can evaluate

For product and engineering teams, this showcase demonstrates how the SDKs can support communication analysis workflows that combine connected data with time-based events. It shows how graph selection, timeline zooming, heatmaps and synchronized filtering can help users investigate relationships without losing the sequence of activity behind them.

The workflow adds time to the network: a user can see who contacted whom, but also when the calls happened, how often they occurred and when the pattern started to stand out.

Data fusion investigations

Use this showcase if you’re building an investigation application that needs to connect different data types that complement each other. It shows how a synchronized graph, timeline and map can turn lawful-intercept-style data into a single tool that offers investigators a clearer account of a person’s activity.

Social media analysis

Use this showcase if you’re building an application where analysts need to connect online identities, accounts and posts across social media platforms. It demonstrates how entity resolution can turn scattered identifiers into a clearer network, so relationships are easier to interpret at the level of people and groups rather than individual accounts alone.

OSINT timeline

Use this showcase if you’re building an application where analysts need to make sense of open source intelligence as a sequence of activity, not just a collection of records. News articles, social posts, and message data can quickly become fragmented. Arranged chronologically, those sources start to show how a situation developed and how different individuals reacted, both publicly and privately.
